| The San Juan Pueblo Reencuentro Ceremonia -- held on April 26, 1998 -- provided an opportunity for the Spanish Government to once again recognize New Mexico¹s 19 pueblos as sovereign nations and to build upon this government-to-government relationship with educational and cultural exchange programs.
