Karl Baden (American, 1952- )

Karl Baden, a New York City native, received his B.A. in Fine Arts at Syracuse University in 1974 and an M.F.A. in Photography at University of Illinois at Chicago Circle in 1979. Baden has taught at Boston College, Harvard, Clark University, and Rhode Island School of Design. He was Director of Photography at the Project Art Center, Cambridge, in the early 1980s, and served on the board and programming committee for the Photographic Resource Center, Boston. Baden has had numerous one person and group exhibitions and has received noteworthy fellowships.
