The New Mexico History Museum and Palace of the Governors are set in the heart of 400-year-old Santa Fe on the Plaza. The Palace of the Governors, built in 1610, and the oldest public building in the United States, is not only a designated National Historic landmark, but has also been added to the prestigious National Treasures list.  The Palace and its courtyard, along with the NM History Museum, offer a unique setting for your wedding or other special events.

The New Mexico Museum of Art stirs the imagination: an enchanting wedding or cocktail reception in a courtyard garden full of flowers, an awards ceremony in a stately boardroom, luncheon or early breakfast in a sculpture garden. The Saint Francis Auditorium serves as one of Santa Fe's premier performance halls, seats 450 people and is a perfect venue for events from weddings to concerts to lectures.

In Santa Fe on Museum Hill on Milner Plaza—Delight your guests with views and spaces that are unparalleled

Milner Plaza on Museum Hill straddles a ridgetop once crossed by travelers on the Old Santa Fe Trail. Located in the close-in foothills of the Sangre de Cristo range, it is provides a stunning entry point for event-goers.

The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture and the historic Meem Auditorium in the Laboratory of Anthropology offer a spectacular venue for private parties, receptions, and corporate events. The museum offers intimate settings for small groups and meetings, or ceremonies and celebrations in the historic Meem Auditorium, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Museum of International Folk Art is a unique venue with a variety of exciting spaces available for rental. Outdoor spaces boast spectacular mountain views with several patios on Milner Plaza. Indoor spaces include a light-filled Atrium, the Neutrogena Lounge, and the opportunity to have one or more galleries open. Also located on beautiful Milner Plaza on Museum Hill is the Museum Hill Café which can serve as a convenient lunch or reception location for small groups up to 100. 

In Lincoln, in a town frozen in time

President Rutherford B. Hayes called Lincoln’s main street “the most dangerous street in America.” In this quiet one-street community you and your wedding guests can walk in the footsteps of Sheriff Pat Garrett, Billy the Kid, and other infamous characters involved in the Lincoln County War, 1878-1881. Imagine your ceremony in the Old Lincoln County Courthouse or the San Juan Mission Church. Arrive on horseback or Harley and make your wedding part of the history of Lincoln, located 12 miles east of Capitan on U.S. 380.
